It's high time to continue telling you stories ;) I have promised more adventures, so here they are.

In the year 356, IV Age strange events began to happen in Arda (in northern Endore mostly) – people were disappearing, sometimes never to be seen again, sometimes returning after some time, completely mad and broken. All investigations led to almost nothing, which soon made all involved think that it was some powerful wight to blame. And as there was noone in Arda able to cope with such a threat, it was decided that the wights who dealt with Aivare should be called back to deal with the new threat.

It was done so and they returned and settled in the flying castle (Aivare's former residence). From there they started searching for the one responsible for what was happening – and found. It was Ah'Leene, the daughter of Ungolianth and Melkor… this combination of genes made her a very powerful and dangerous enemy, difficult to trace and even more difficult to eliminate… But nothing lasts forever – she was finally cornered and killed. At least the wights thought so.

However after dealing with Leene the wights decided to stay in Arda in order to protect it from such happenings in the future. They signed a treaty with the Valar, which abridged their usage of powers, yet gave them the right to use their powers against the wights who would enter Arda without permission and – though also within limits – to use the powers to help the mercenaries in the most difficult missions or when those or people of Daedroth were in danger.

The life was peaceful till the year 368, when a seemingly ordinary thing happened – one mercenary, Lomyrin by name, got an errand, that might be impossible for an elf to complete (at least the client seemed too powerful, so everyone expected the task to be difficult). So the high priest of their clan, Aine, asked the wights to help. Lomyrin's choice (quite randomly) fell on Daenar and both of them set off for the mission that turned out to be strangely and even suspiciously simple – stealing some paper from king Ingwe. (as usual I omit the adventures of lesser importance that they encountered on their way, but they had to encounter Leene again and kill her once and forever now).

When they got to Valinor, their suspicions grew stronger, especially after talking to the Valar who, sooner or later, found out about this mission. It seemed that the paper was of no importance at all to the client – the purpose was to worsen the relations between the wights and the Valar. After some time Lomyrin and Daenar found out that the paper did not exist at all and the elf whom it was said to threaten, was dead for many years. And just when they arrived to the Halls of Mandos to talk to the soul of that elf and ask him if he knew anything… Daenar was teleported outside of the world.

Everyone was shocked, beginning with Lomyrin and Namo, who saw it and finishing with Darina, Dae's beloved one, whom Namo called to Valinor immediately (just in case someone is interested – he met her somewhere between 352 and 356 yrs, when the wights were in the Void. The lady was one of Telron's half-blood army). Darina wanted to go to the Void to look for Daenar, so did Lomyrin. But as he was an elf, and they are not allowed to leave Arda, Darina had to make him into a wight too. Together they went out of Arda and started looking for Daenar everywhere.

Again they've encountered many adventures and still could not find Daenar anywhere… till some track led them to Eru's Timeless Halls. Fortunately for them, Eru himself was away, and his younger son, Seyore, eagerly let the rescuers free Daenar who was kept prisoner for no apparent reason. Then they had to flee, all four of them – Lomyrin, Darina, Daenar and Seyore… Eru returned just to see them leave and as they were afraid of him (not without a reason), they fled as far as the Dead Cities and managed to slip into Imir, which was visible for just some short time. Then they realized they were trapped perfectly. Whats more, only Seyore could dare get out of the houses, because the defense system would burn the wights of the Black Flame very soon… so they travelled a while in the tunnels under the city, sometimes rising from them to the houses. In one of the houses they met Aivare…

And again the shock was great. The one whom they fought so desperately, the one whom they considered dead, was alive – and trapped in the city too. Somehow he did not seem to be aggressive and after talking for a while they found out that it was he who demanded that Eru kidnapped one of the wights in exchange for some ainu's life… Aivare wanted to talk to any of the wights somewhere outside Arda, somewhere where Eru could not eavesdrop… He wanted to offer them teaming up… Yes, despite the fact they almost killed him, he liked them – and respected. And besides it was a decent alternative to the ever-quarrelling ladies in power.

All together they managed to turn the Veil off for some moments again and broke free. Aivare and Seyore stayed in the Void, each going his own way, Daenar, Darina and Lomyrin returned to Arda… where everyone who cared was panicking already. Still after some time Aivare came o Arda for the third time in his life – now driven by his sudden love to Lomyrin.

Here ends the part of the story that is known to me. Further events haven't happened yet.

And here’s the link to the family tree of the wights, with some more explanations there. Hope it’s comprehensible. ;) [link]

It's somehow strange for that they decided to live in Aivare's castle after almost killing him. :?
